After School Clubs
Our after school clubs are fantastic for everyone, covering all sides of performing arts as well as land providing children with valuable skills for later in life. We are currently aiming to operate our after school primary clubs through 'Playhouse' two days a week, and have space to collaborate with up to three local secondary schools to offer our 'Workhouse' after school program.
How do they work?
Sessions last for 1.5hrs and usually run from 3:30pm to 5pm, though this can be adapted around individual school running times. Through the Workhouse after school sessions, we aim to explore a range of different skills, techniques and genres in detail to give a more rounded experience of performing arts training. We work on a term-by-term basis, and continue a theme through an entire term. Some of our term themes are:
Musical Theatre Skills
Classical Theatre and Shakespeare
Acting for Screen
Poetry and Monologues
How much are the sessions?
Student fees vary depending on the partnership with the school, but usually sessions will be £12 for an hour and a half, and are available to book in termly or half-termly slots, either by cash or cheque.
